7. International transfers

As a Singapore-based organisation, we may process and store Personal Data in Singapore and may use suppliers or infrastructure located in other countries. Where Personal Data is transferred across borders, we take steps designed to ensure that the information remains protected to an appropriate standard.

Where GDPR applies and Personal Data is transferred from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom to a country that is not recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we will implement appropriate transfer safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses and, for UK transfers, the relevant UK transfer mechanism), together with supplementary measures where required.

Where the PDPA applies, we put in place measures intended to ensure that overseas recipients protect Personal Data in a manner consistent with Singapore’s requirements.

8. Data retention

We keep Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and for as long as required to meet legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting obligations. Retention periods vary depending on factors such as the nature of the information, why it was collected, and any applicable requirements or limitations.

When Personal Data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or to anonymise it so that it no longer identifies an individual.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, help maintain security, and understand how the Website is used. Where required, we will provide choices through any cookie controls made available on the Website.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Please note that restricting cookies may affect how the Website functions.

10. Your rights and choices

Your rights depend on the law that applies to the relevant processing and your location. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a rights request.

10.1 Singapore (PDPA)

Subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access to Personal Data we hold about you and request corrections where appropriate. You may also withdraw consent for our collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

Where permitted under the PDPA, we may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will inform you of the fee (if any) before proceeding. If you have concerns about our handling of Personal Data, you may contact us first so we can address them. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore.

10.2 EEA/UK (GDPR and UK GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, you may have the right to request: access to your Personal Data; correction of inaccurate data; deletion in certain circumstances; restriction of processing in certain circumstances; portability of certain data; and objection to certain processing (including an absolute right to object to direct marketing). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out before withdrawal).

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, as applicable.

The Website is intended for a general audience and is not designed for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
